We are looking for the following trades:
*Commercial work is acceptable for this trade Contractors Underwriting Practices Contractors involved in multiple trades, such as general home improvements, are unacceptable. We expect appropriate payrolls for the work performed. We realize certain trades can not be done by one person alone and will add a charge for helpers. Policies are subject to audit. Subcontracted work and contractual liability (hold harmless agreements) are excluded. The following operations are excluded on all policies - roofing, snowplowing, work on scaffolds, all work over 20 feet in height, plumbing, use of torches and work on boom tucks/cherry pickers. Certain trade specific exclusions apply for masonry, electrical and lawn care classes. Blanket additional insured coverage is not written. Each additional insured must be submitted for approval. We need to know what the job is, the location, payroll & cost of job. There is a charge based on the exposure subject to a minimum premium per of $25 per building owner and/or $100 per contractor. Job sites are inspected. If additional acceptable exposures are found, we will add a charge for them or cancel the policy at your choice. If we determine unacceptable undisclosed operations are performed, we will either rescind or cancel the policy for misrepresentation at our discretion.
