Specialty Programs 
- Restaurants and Taverns
- NSIC specializes in restaurants and neighborhood taverns. No dance
floors are allowed. Live entertainment is limited to back round music
such as a piano bar. For restaurants, liquor sales may account
for up to 35% of gross sales.

- The Neighborhood Tavern Program is designed for local neighborhood
bars. No dance floor or live entertainment is allowed. Sales
from food are limited to 35% of gross sales.

- Liquor liability is written in New York only on select
restaurants and bars .

- Residential Artisan Contractors Programs
- NSIC currently writes select residential artisan
contactors. A Residential Artisan Contractor is defined as a contractor that
specializes in one specific trade, such as a painter or an electrician or a
landscaper, who works primarily at residential and office locations.
The use of subcontractors is excluded. Contractual liability for
"hold harmless agreements" is not written. We
exclude certain specified operations. When binding we require the
insured to sign an addendum that lists the excluded operations.
